Pic Monkey
Many people have been mourning the loss of Picnik (if you’re not one of them it was a simple, cool photo editing website)
I blogged not so long ago about one I had found called Pixlr, while this does great things, I have not found it as simple and user friendly as Picnik was.
Today I stumbled across a website which equals picnik both simplicity and cool factor. If you are on the hunt for a free photo editing site, I suggest you check out

My Place & Yours
It’s back…
Punky & Me is doing her ‘My Place and Yours’ meme again. Each Saturday a theme is posted and you can link up your home.
This week’s theme is On The Wall
Unfortunately I have a bit of a wall hanging phobia and it takes me a long while to get up the courage to put holes in the wall and hang things. I did have big plans for my walls, I have managed hallway (tick), lounge room (tick) bedroom (husband hung a TV instead :s) family room (… coughs sheepishly… not yet), guest bedroom (not yet), office (half done)
Here are some images… I took the opportunity to have a play around with the new online photo editing program Pixlr

Photovisi
I thought I would try out this free website today that helps you make collages with your photo’s
Photovisi
The site has a varitey of templates that you can add your photo’s to, as well as add text, move around the layout of the photo’s, change colours, etc.
These are some of the templates
I actually quite liked the program.
There is no downloading (until you come to the final image), just click straight in and start using. You do have to register though.
There are lots of templates.
It is very easy to use.
Its linked up to all other social media if you wish to share your items. Or you can just old fashioned save it to your computer.
Here are some collages I made so you can see how it looks…

I will be linking up to

Macro Monday- Old Tailem Town
In South Australia, just under 100km from Adelaide is a little town called Tailem Bend. Tailem bend is home of the historic visitors village called ‘Old Tailem Town’ and it is so fascinating. It is a little village set up for tourists as it would have been in the olden days with thousands and thousands of old memorabilia, buildings, machinery and more. I really enjoyed seeing an old school, church, cinema, pub… and there are lots more.
Here are some of my photo’s from when I visited with my Mum. I do recommend people go for a visit if they are in the area. It currently appears to be run by a group of older people, possibly volunteers, and I worry that when their time for being able to work has passed that no one will take on the role of keeping the place up and running. There is a lot of history there and it would be a shame to see it all disappear.

Macro Monday- Christmas
Some Macro photo’s from my time at my parents house for Christmas. A relaxing trip so far

Wandering thru Mummy’s lovely garden.

Picking snow peas for our salad.

Drinking too much beer (I’m a good ol aussie girl, I love my beer).

A wonderful, casual, christmas day.

Playing darts with the boys.

Getting ready to go crabbing tomorrow.
